BUBT Successfully Concluded BAPS National Programming Camp 2025

September 27, 2025, the three-day-long BUBT-BAPS National Programming Camp 2025, organized at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), concluded successfully today with a grand closing ceremony held at the university’s International Conference Hall.
The closing ceremony was graced by Professor Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad, Distinguished Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, BRAC University, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Shahriar Monzur, President of the Bangladesh Association of Problem Setters (BAPS) and Chairman, Department of CSE, Southeast University, attended as the Special Guest. Among the other distinguished guests were Mr. Mohammad Mohaiminul Islam, Judge, BAPS, and Mr. Md. Saifur Rahman, Chairman, Department of CSE, BUBT.
Regarding the event, Professor Dr. A B M Shawkat Ali, Honorable Vice Chancellor of BUBT, stated: “This national programming camp enhanced students’ creativity, competitive mindset, and research interest. We believe this initiative will inspire young programmers to achieve greater success both nationally and internationally.”
The camp hosted 221 students from 98 educational institutions across the country. Participants engaged in intensive training sessions, hands-on programming practices, and multiple problem-solving contests to sharpen their skills. Renowned trainers played a vital role in improving participants’ programming, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities, effectively preparing them for the upcoming ICPC Asia Dhaka Regional Contest 2025.
During the closing ceremony, ten school participants were honored with special awards for their outstanding performance.
The Chief Guest praised the dedication and enthusiasm of the students and expressed hope that this camp would inspire young programmers of Bangladesh to achieve success on both national and international platforms.
Organized under the supervision of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of BUBT, this national programming camp once again reaffirmed BUBT’s commitment to innovation, knowledge-sharing, and academic excellence.
