The hand-over and take-over ceremony of the Vice-Chancellorship of BUBT was held on Wednesday, October 02, 2024. At that time, the former Vice-Chancellor (Additional Charge) of BUBT, Professor Dr. Md. Ali Noor, handed over the responsibility to the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. A B M Shawkat Ali. At the same time, they exchanged bouquets as a gesture of goodwill.

Honorable Advisor and member of the BUBT Trust Professor Md. Abu Saleh, honorable Registrar Dr. Md. Harun-or-Rashid, Treasurer Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed, Controller of Examinations Professor A. B. Md. Badruddoza Mia, Deans of various Faculties, and high officials of the university were present there.
