In a dynamic showcase of pioneering research, IQAC-BUBT unveiled a promising endeavor at their Research Proposal Presentation.

Taking center stage at 11 A.M. Thursday (February 15, 2024), the event unfolded in the vibrant atmosphere of Meeting Room 220, Building 02 of the university. Notable figures in attendance included the esteemed Vice Chancellor of BUBT, Prof. Dr. Fayyaz Khan, alongside the Director of IQAC, Prof. Santi Naryan Ghosh, and Additional Director Mr. Zaved Mannan. Faculty members from the EEE department, including the Chairman, were also present to lend their support.

At the heart of the presentation was a visionary research initiative titled "Deep Learning-Based Correlation and Feature Extraction Technique to Identify Risk Genes and Early Prediction of Alzheimer's Disease." Spearheaded by Dr. Md. Shamsul Arefin, Assistant Professor in the Department of EEE at BUBT, and co-researcher Md. Shahadat Jaman, the project aims to redefine Alzheimer's detection through cutting-edge deep learning techniques.

Dr. Arefin's expertise in electrical and electronic engineering brings a wealth of knowledge to the project, complemented by the fresh perspective of Mr. Jaman, a rising star in the department. This collaboration underscores BUBT's dedication to fostering talent and driving innovative research initiatives.
