Event Details

The final debate was held between the Department of English and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).  The debaters argued on the ‘The Lack of Quality Education is the Main Reason for the Increase of Unemployment Problem in the Country’. The Department of CSE won the championship trophy.

The Program started from 7^th November and ended on November 11, 2017. On the first day a workshop was arranged for the participating students. Around 200 students participated in the workshop. Among these students 36 best performers were selected for forming teams of 11 departments of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT).

Professor Dr. Shafique Ahmed Siddique, Convenor, Academic Advisory Committee of BUBT, spoke as the Chief Guest while Mr. Hassan Ahamed Chowdhury Kiron, Chairman, Debate for Democracy, conducted the session as the Speaker. He also spoke as the Keynote Speaker following the debate. Prof. Md. Enayet Hossain Mian, Treasurer, BUBT, Prof. Mian Lutfar Rahman, Proctor, BUBT were present as Special Guests. Prof. M. Abu Saleh, Vice Chancellor of BUBT presided over the program.
