The Civil Engineering (CE) Program is designed to follow the Outcome Based Education (OBE) Approach based on the Board of Accreditation of Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE), Bangladesh program criterion. Thus, the department essentially takes care while structuring curriculum, offering and planning the courses, selecting faculties as well as takes challenges to attain necessary skills and proficiency of students in all areas of civil engineering: structural, geotechnical, water resources, environmental and transportation engineering so that accreditation standards are met completely. Our prime target is to achieve BAETE accreditation to assure our graduates IEB membership for their professional development.
The curriculum of CE Program has been structured for highly ambitious students following outcome based education approach of BAETE, Bangladesh to meet their current market job skills and proficiency requirements, gain ability of admitting into graduate programs of highly qualified universities of our country or abroad and be capable of entering into lifelong learning process for further achievement in their professions.
